So, how's the new design? I did it myself! (With the help of my sister who did practically all the HTML, but I did do some stuff...so I can take some credit, right? *wink* ) The reason why the header isn't a picture is because when I tried to upload it, the whole thing became very dark, and the background turned grey, so...I'm sticking with plain text for the header. But anyways...how do you like the colors? yay or nay? :)

I love this picture. Do you want to know why? Because you see the green grass in the background, and the bricks are black and white. Only the bricks are not black and white. My camera did this thing that--I guess it made it darker or something--it turned sort of b&w. I love this. :)

 PS-There will be a new design coming shortly!

A Stream of Water 2|52

A stream of water
so gently brushing by
the sun's rays glitter it's surface
as it rushes by, the slight breeze causing ripples
{A random thing that popped into my head. Don't ask what it is...I have no idea myself. =P}

This picture was taken by the side of the street. There was water running down it (it had just finished raining), and the sun's beams were lighting it up. I quickly pulled out my camera and snapped this. Not overly amazing, but I love (1) the perspective that the photo was taken at, (2) the sun's shine and (3) the "steps" it's making at the top of the photo.

For some reason I love this picture. It's so plain, yet...so beautiful. The way the grass is lit up, and...shining...I just love this. <3

Welcome

 Hello. Welcome. I'm Jessie, an 11 year-old aspiring photographer. Yes, I've only begun, and have a lot to learn, but this is only the beginning.

 Some of you may have known my other blog, 'Jessie's Photography'. Why'd she leave it, You might be thinking, and start something the exact same, except for the name and design? Well, I'll tell you why.

 It's because I needed something new, something...a bit more professional. On this blog my photography won't be like it used to. I'll be doing Project 52, where I post s picture special for that purpose, once a week. I can't wait to get started on that.
